Kevin Jarvis was summoned out of minor-league camp Sunday and pitched the Arizona Diamondbacks to a 6-0 victory over the Chicago Cubs. The Diamondbacks needed a starting pitcher after they traded left-hander Brad Halsey to the Oakland Athletics for Juan Cruz. Jarvis pitched four scoreless innings and gave up two hits.
